From the moment we met Jennifer and Bryan, their love of PAPER, WOOD and all things natural was very clear!  It really sparked our CREATIVITY when it came to their wedding design.  RUSTIC and RICH was the final outcome!

A classically simple ceremony was held under a draped canopy in the front yard of a private estate. Immediately following, guests adjourned to the backyard for the reception. The bridal party sat around a custom made WOODEN table and a mix of fruits, candles and hand-made paper flowers gave the perfect finishing touch to the rustic floral centerpieces.

Jennifer and Bryan had the time of their life as we watched them dance the night away under market LIGHTS strung across the tree tops.

We LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this couple!!!  They were so much fun and proved to be just as gracious and happy as you would always hope from a perfect bride and groom!

In the history of StarEvents, we have never had to use a “PLAN B” for a wedding.  Of course, we’ve had to deal with inclement weather situations and other emergencies, but nothing that made us completely revamp the plans.  That all changed one day before this wedding.  The ceremony and reception was meticulously planned to take place outdoors on a beautiful, private estate on Millerton Lake.  As you recall, we had been having beautiful weather during May, however there were a couple of unseasonably cold and rainy days in late May.  Unfortunately one of these days was Jennifer and Jay’s wedding day.  As always, we had been tracking the weather for the entire previous week and although there were windows of hope, but bad weather was imminent.

LONG-STORY-SHORT, we re-planned the ENTIRE wedding in less than 24 hours!

Find an available (and cute) Church…CHECK, Find a new Reception location…CHECK, Notify all guests…CHECK, Update all vendors…CHECK, Update all stationery, timelines and seating plans…CHECK, Alter wedding design for an indoor venue…CHECK. Make sure the Bride and Groom still have an AMAZING wedding…CHECK!!!

The catering company, Classic Catering, was so gracious (and available) to allow us to relocate the reception to their banquet hall.  And New Hope Community Church, was able to squeeze us in as well.  With minor alterations, the decor was fabulous and most importantly, Jennifer and Jay were SO HAPPY.  Their guests were impressed and had such a great time.

Did I mention we had KRISPY KREME donuts transported in for this event?!?!?!?

Anyhow, although there was some added stress and the look wasn’t exactly as planned…as the bride was partying late into the night, she exclaimed “We love it!  The guests love it! It is PERFECT and how it was always meant to be!”
